My kids call me eccentric. My friend call me quirky. My husband says flighty might be a little more accurate.
If googling 'how to hire a knight' is quirky, or wanting to learn everything from how to make the world's best cinnamon bun to creating costumes for the elves you intend to photograph makes me flighty . . . so be it.
I mean really . . . who doesn't love good food? A great project? Tales filled with heroes, quests, magic and maybe even a little romance?
I'm a sucker for all those things and more . . . and if they happen to take place in a garden . . . all the better!
I can't remember a time I didn't love to read. If there were no books, the back of cereal boxes and ingredient lists on the shampoo bottles in the bathroom would do in a pinch. Unbeknownst to my parents, I drained every battery in the emergency flashlights reading under the covers at night.
These days I'm learning how to tell stories visually, as well as with words. The mind boggles at what you can do with a camera, computer and photoshop . . .
If you're a creative, with a love of story and a sucker for an interesting project, be it in the kitchen, garden or studio you've come to the right place!
